WHAT IS AIRSOFT?
Airsoft is a popular sport, where players engage in simulated gun combat. It is similar in concept to paintball; however it involves the use of high powered replica airsoft guns that fire plastic BB pellets rather than paintballs. Groups of people form teams and use military tactics, realistic military clothing and guns, which are replicas of those used in the armed forces.
IS AIRSOFT SAFE?
Overall, airsoft is an enjoyable and safe sport, as there are strict rules in place which ensure players are aware of and able to avoid potential risks.
DOES AIRSOFT HURT?
If you are wearing proper clothing, a hit from a medium range will not hurt and will just feel like being poked. airsoft will usually hurt less and leave far less bruising than a game of paintball.
DO I NEED PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TO PLAY AIRSOFT?
Yes, every player is required to wear eye protection. If players do not have eye protection, our facility has them available for rent.
CAN CHILDREN PLAY AIRSOFT?
Yes, Airsoft can be enjoyed at our facility by anyone 8 years old and older.
FPS RULES
All airsoft weapons except "snipers" and pistols will be set to a field max of 400 FPS using . 20 BB's. Note: Heavier gram BBs may be used during games. Rate of fire must not exceed 20 balls per second.
SNIPER FPS RULES
Sniper airsoft weapons must be semi (1 second interval between shots) or bolt action only. Sniper airsoft weapons may be set to a field max of 500 FPS, using . 20 BB's. These airsoft weapons must observe a 100-foot minimum shooting distance.
